This summer I’ve taken the time to address myself in my various flaws and shortcomings. And tonight my ex decided to text me, although I will never reconsider M for dating ever again I hated how we ended. We ended all communication by lack of communication. Things were said, fights were started, screaming, friends had to basically come between us, but I have learned for the better how to communicate between people. I am learning how not to let one person control my emotions and interactions with the people I come into contact with. It feels awesome knowing that we have apologized to each other and that I could let M know that all is forgiven. It was really weighing on my chest how nasty we were last time we saw each other. 
Lesson Learned: Never let a person be able to show the uglier side of you. You have control of all the emotions one can possess. It is important in any situation that you may have to handle in life that you take control. That you do whatever is necessary to maintain your best and true self no matter the temptation. Words can hurt and you never know how what you said or how you acted can influence someone else’s life. It’s best in most cases to end things with full understanding and the best communication possible by any means necessary.
